Hong Kong-based renowned sculptor Joe Chiao's model brand, JOKU Production, is launching a new "Ultraman" themed product in its HyperMod UltraKaiju series: a painted finished figure of Zetton. It has a suggested retail price of 14,100 JPY and is slated for release in January 2027!
The "Space Dinosaur" Zetton first appeared in "Goodbye Ultraman," the 39th and final episode of the original "Ultraman" series. It was a monster weapon brought by the Zettonians to invade Earth. Possessing composite abilities like hardened steel-like skin, teleportation, and invisibility, Zetton's power far surpassed Ultraman's, making it the first monster in history to successfully defeat Ultraman. Ultimately, the Science Patrol managed to defeat Zetton using their secret weapon, the "Gravity Bomb."
This UltraKaiju Zetton figure stands approximately 20 cm tall. Sculpted with a roughly 2.5-head proportion, it faithfully recreates the various design details of Zetton's suit, with paintwork that accurately reproduces the colors seen in the show. Intricate details like the texture of its skin and the yellow gradient on its chest are exquisitely rendered! The figure features LED light-up mechanisms in its chest and head, allowing collectors to display its powerful glowing effects! Furthermore, it can be displayed alongside the simultaneously revealed UltraHero Original Ultraman figure to recreate their classic battle scene!
