TAITO Unveils Stunning AMP+ Snow Miku 2013ver. Prize Figure Colored Prototype

Japanese company TAITO (株式会社タイトー) has announced a major collaboration between its high-quality Prize Figure series "AMP+" and the Snow Miku series! The second release, "Snow Miku 2013ver.", also had its colored prototype officially revealed on the official X account!

The "Snow Miku" x "AMP+" project will re-illustrate Snow Miku designs from each year, starting from 2012, in collaboration with various artists, and release them as Prize Figures. The first figure, Snow Miku 2012, is already available for pre-order, and illustrations and artists for subsequent Snow Miku collaborations have recently been revealed.

This "Snow Miku 2013ver." figure is a collaboration with VISION, a model company known for producing numerous blind box figures recently. It is based on the reinterpreted illustration by renowned artist Pop Qun (@poppuqn). The intricate, multi-layered design of the Strawberry Shiromuku (traditional Japanese wedding kimono) has been faithfully recreated. While the prototype already boasted an extremely high level of completion in its gray model state, its cuteness has ascended to new heights with the reveal of the colored version! The facial features perfectly replicate Pop Qun's art style, and her hair color features a translucent gradient. The snowflake patterns on her body are reproduced using pad printing and embossing techniques, and tiny knots throughout the figure are meticulously crafted using separate parts. Just like the design concept, it resembles a finely crafted strawberry daifuku!
