Chinese action figure brand HopDo Toys has announced the release of the latest addition to their "Goblin Tribe" series: the Chef Goblin 1/12 Scale Pre-Painted Action Figure. This new figure is now available for pre-order and is slated for a March 2027 release, priced at 6,710 JPY (tax included).
This figure outfits the Goblin with an apron and chef's hat, and includes two interchangeable head sculpts with different expressions. Its fully articulated body allows for various cooking poses, such as chopping vegetables, stirring pots, and serving dishes. It can also wield kitchen utensils in combat, capturing the chaotic atmosphere unique to a fantasy kitchen.
The accessory count is incredibly generous, featuring a ladle, Western-style kitchen knife, Chinese cleaver, spatula, iron pot, and a campfire. Additionally, a plastic bag for groceries and a tree stump are included. Collectors can immediately set up an outdoor cooking scene, allowing the Chef Goblin to tend to simmering dishes over the campfire, or perhaps chase after unruly ingredients with its cleaver. Six interchangeable hand parts and two mushrooms are also provided, which can be paired with other 1/12 scale accessories like taverns, dungeons, or wilderness campsites. With its abundant cookware and culinary props, this release isn't just another Goblin warrior; it truly transforms into a busy chef preparing meals within a fantasy diorama.
