BANDAI FASHION COLLECTION (Bancolle!), a division of Japan's Bandai that specializes in character-themed apparel and lifestyle goods, has just dropped some exciting news.
They're officially commercializing the glasses worn by the popular character Challia Bull from the highly anticipated 2025 Gundam anime, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX"! These stylish specs are priced at 14,850 JPY and are now available for pre-order on Bandai's Premium Bandai website in Japan.
In the GQ timeline, Challia Bull is one of the strongest Newtype pilots in the Principality of Zeon military, a character who has appeared in previous "Mobile Suit Gundam" iterations.
While Challia Bull's original design made him look quite old, he was actually only 28 at the time. Fast forward to "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," and his brand-new character design, presumably five or six years later, has transformed him into a dashing and fashionable figure, unexpectedly skyrocketing his popularity when the show premiered.
This product is based on the private clothes design officially revealed after the third episode of the anime aired, specifically commercializing the glasses he wears.
Crafted to replicate the glasses from the series, the overall design is remarkably understated. The temple tips feature the Principality of Zeon emblem, while the temples themselves are engraved with "Challia Bull" in English. They're subtle enough for everyday wear, making them perfect for the office, formal events, or even casual outfits—practical and seamlessly integrated into any look.
Each purchase also includes an exclusive glasses case and cleaning cloth, both adorned with Challia Bull's signature green color and the Principality of Zeon's military emblem.
And if you want to take your fandom to the next level, Bandai is also offering a dedicated Challia Bull acrylic stand glasses holder as an add-on for 1,980 JPY, perfect for display or storage.
