GASHAPON Unveils "K-ON! Marker Charms" Capsule Toys: Let the After School Tea Time Crew Protect Your Umbrella!

BANDAI's GASHAPON capsule toy division has announced a new product line based on the popular anime "K-ON!" – the "K-ON! Marker Charms" capsule toys. Each gacha will retail for 400 JPY and is slated for release in late December 2026!

Houbunsha's iconic "K-ON!" (けいおん! K-ON!) originated as a 4-panel manga by Japanese artist kakifly. Kyoto Animation adapted it into a TV anime series in 2009. The story follows protagonist Yui Hirasawa, who mistakenly joins the Light Music Club thinking "light music" meant "easy music," and chronicles the fun and relaxed daily lives of the Sakuragaoka High School Light Music Club members.

GASHAPON's Marker Charm series features a rubber ring attached to each charm, allowing them to be slipped onto items like umbrellas or water bottles for easy identification, preventing mix-ups. This "K-ON! Marker Charms" collection brings the Light Music Club members to life in an adorable, super-deformed 1.5-head-tall proportion. The lineup includes five types: Yui Hirasawa, Ritsu Tainaka, Mio Akiyama, Tsumugi Kotobuki, and Azusa Nakano. Despite their mini size of approximately 3.5 cm, the charms faithfully reproduce the uniform's design details, while advanced face printing technology captures the soft and charming aura of the girls as drawn by Kyoto Animation. Whether adorning an umbrella or worn as a regular charm, these are incredibly cute, making it a must-have to collect all five members!
