Bandai's Gashapon division is launching a new series of capsule toys based on the classic anime "Sgt. Frog" – the "Sgt. Frog☆ Chibi Kero Punipuni Tai" collection. These squishy figures will retail for 400 JPY per capsule and are slated for release in late December 2026.
Originally created by Japanese manga artist Mine Yoshizaki, "Sgt. Frog" (ケロロ軍曹) is a monthly manga series that follows the chaotic, comedic daily life of Sergeant Keroro and his platoon. Sent from the Keron Star to scout Earth, their cover is blown, and they end up living with the Hinata family. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new TV anime, "Sgt. Frog☆", which is set to premiere on October 3rd, and the first trailer was also recently unveiled, building excitement.
Now, Sergeant Keroro and his pals are joining the popular "Punipuni Tai" series, known for its squeezable texture! The "Sgt. Frog☆ Chibi Kero Punipuni Tai" lineup features Keroro, Giroro, and Dororo in their adorable child forms. Each figure stands approximately 5 cm tall, depicted in a prone position, with their tiny tadpole tails meticulously sculpted. Crafted from a special material, these figures boast a delightful squishy feel, allowing collectors to squeeze these silly young frogs to their heart's content and relieve some stress!
