Bandai Spirits' HOBBY Division, known for its original robot model kit series "30 MINUTES MISSIONS" (30MM) which emphasizes easy assembly and extensive customization, has announced the latest addition to the lineup: the "30MM 1/144 EXM-E7b Spinatia (Beast Specification)", slated for release in January 2027.
Designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, the EXM-E7 Spinatia is a mass-produced unit utilized by the Maxion Army, a third faction alongside the Earth Alliance Forces and the Byron Army. In contrast to the male-type EXM-A9 Spinatio from the same faction, the Spinatia marks the 30MM series' debut female-type base body. It boasts a slender, agile, and elegant physique reminiscent of the human form, coupled with a highly versatile equipment swapping system. The base body can be outfitted with various combat specifications, including Fencer, Assassin, and Reaper types.
The "30MM 1/144 EXM-E7b Spinatia (Beast Specification)" builds upon the highly articulated base body previously released. It features new parts to recreate its striking vermilion-toned beast-type armament. Thanks to the universal 3mm joint system across its body, equipment changes are quick and seamless. Beyond its richly detailed armor, the kit incorporates beast-style sub-arms and tail components. Articulated joints allow for dynamic poses, such as holding the sub-arms with both hands or swinging the tail. Clear effect parts are also included to depict beam firing from the sub-arms and blades at the tail's tip.
