Bushiroad Creative, a leading anime and manga merchandise distributor under Bushiroad Inc., is set to release a new lineup of "PalVerse" mini figures for the hit anime series "BLUE LOCK." The "PalVerse BLUE LOCK Vol.2" blind box figures will be available for a suggested retail price of 1,100 JPY per box, with an anticipated release date of February 26, 2027.
"BLUE LOCK" is a popular manga series penned by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, which received an anime adaptation by studio 8bit in 2022. The story kicks off with the Japan Football Association launching the "Blue Lock Project" in a bold bid to secure a World Cup victory for Japan in 2022. This ambitious initiative confines 300 elite, under-18 forwards within a facility dubbed "Blue Lock," where they face a rigorous elimination tournament designed to unearth the one ultimate striker.
Following the successful first wave, which featured fan-favorites like Meguru Bachira and Hyouma Chigiri, the "PalVerse BLUE LOCK Vol.2" mini figures dive into the second season's intense Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan National Team arc. This collection transforms several popular players into adorable, chibi-style PalVerse figures. Alongside new poses and team uniforms for Yoichi Isagi, Rin Itoshi, Seishiro Nagi, and Reo Mikage, this wave introduces Sae Itoshi and Ryusei Shido, completing a set of six unique designs. Each figure stands approximately 9 cm tall, meticulously sculpted to capture the characters' signature features, and adorned with printed details of both the Blue Lock and U-20 Japan National Team uniforms. Don't miss out on these super cute collectibles, fellow "獄友" (prison-mates)!
