The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, renowned for its original robot plastic model kit series "30 MINUTES MISSIONS" (30MM) which emphasizes easy assembly and extensive customization, has announced its latest product: the "30MM 1/144 eEXM-40 Igrite (High Mobility Type)", slated for release in March 2027.
The eEXM-40 Igrite is the Earth Alliance Forces' next-generation mass-produced main EXAMACS, developed to succeed the eEXM-17 Alto, balancing both functionality and productivity. Within the "30 MINUTES MISSIONS" series, the Igrite takes over from the Alto as the new flagship unit. This kit has been re-tuned for beginner modelers, marking the first time in the 30MM series that a gate design allows parts to be removed by hand without the need for nippers. This, combined with simplified part and joint construction, ensures quicker and easier assembly.
The "30MM 1/144 eEXM-40 Igrite (High Mobility Type)" is a modification of the previously released standard Igrite, utilizing numerous newly molded parts for its armor and backpack. This design faithfully recreates its high-mobility combat specifications, featuring two cannons and flight capability. Thanks to the universal 3mm joint design found throughout the body, the unit achieves exceptional articulation and highly flexible armor attachment options. The backpack can also separate and function as a flight unit that doubles as a support machine, "Sentry," transforming between bombardment and flight modes.
