TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand T-SPARK has announced the latest addition to its robot-themed finished action figure line, "TOYRISE," featuring the "Evangelion Unit-01" from the popular anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion." This new collectible is priced at 24,200 JPY (tax included) and is slated for release in late March 2027.
Standing approximately 24cm tall, the "TOYRISE Evangelion Unit-01" captures the iconic wide-shouldered design from the TV series, a look less commonly seen in action figures. TOYRISE brings its unique interpretation, re-adjusting the sculpt and details across various parts. Its extensive articulation allows for dynamic poses inspired by in-show scenes, as well as powerful weapon-wielding stances, offering diverse display options. Furthermore, 3mm ports on the arms and legs provide expandability for attaching various included armaments.
The neck boasts a wide range of forward tilting motion, while the crotch area features a pull-down joint for increased upward leg movement. The movable back configuration allows for the insertion of the entry plug accessory. A wealth of classic armaments is included, such as the Progressive Knife, Pallet Rifle, Magoroku E Sword, Counter Sword, and Umbilical Cable. Utilizing the 3mm ports, these weapons can be freely mounted on the legs, arms, or shoulder pylons. The inclusion of sheaths, designed to match the aesthetic of the pylons, further enhances the figure's cool factor and display possibilities!
