TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand, T-SPARK, has announced the latest addition to its robot-themed completed action figure line, "TOYRISE". This new release features the Raijin-Oh from the classic super robot anime series, "Matchless Raijin-Oh" (Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh), as a fully transformable action figure. Priced at 29,700 JPY (tax included), it is slated for release in late March 2027.
"Matchless Raijin-Oh" is the first installment in the Eldran Series, produced by Sunrise in 1991. The story follows the ancient warrior Eldran, guardian of Earth, who is wounded by the schemes of the Jaaku Empire. Eldran divides his colossal robot, Raijin-Oh, into three separate machines and entrusts them to the students of Class 5-3 at Yōshō Elementary School to protect the planet. Piloted by Jin Hyuga, Asuka Tsukishiro, and Koji Hoshino, who control Ken-Oh, Hou-Oh, and Juu-Oh respectively, the students repeatedly thwart the Jaaku Empire's nefarious plans.

The "TOYRISE Raijin-Oh" boasts complete transformation and combination of its three component machines: Ken-Oh, Hou-Oh, and Juu-Oh. While some proportions have been adjusted to accommodate the full transformation, each machine maintains excellent articulation. All three can combine into Raijin-Oh without the need for part swapping, allowing collectors to fully experience the magic of transformation, combination, and display. Once combined, Raijin-Oh stands approximately 26.4cm tall and comes equipped with its iconic Raijin Sword and Raijin Shield. Its articulated hands allow for a wide range of dynamic poses. The Raijin-Oh figure also features numerous 5mm ports across its body, enabling联动 with other TOYRISE series toys for customized play options!
