Jon Bernthal's Marvel anti-hero The Punisher has been making frequent appearances since his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was announced last year in "Daredevil: Born Again". This year alone, he first launched his solo project "The Punisher: One Last Kill" and then continued his role as a supporting character in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". Fans are naturally curious about his next appearance.

According to the latest scoop from renowned entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman on his Patreon page, Marvel Studios is indeed looking to develop a new "Punisher" project, though they are still deciding whether it will be a series or a feature film.
Richtman also added that the "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage" detective duo series project he reported on previously is currently planned as a television special, similar to "One Last Kill". Its potential expansion into a full series will depend on audience reception.
Positive news has also emerged regarding the new "X-Men" project, which The Punisher is reportedly helping to pave the way for. Prominent scooper MyTimeToShineHello revealed that sources who have read the script describe its quality as excellent. The story is said to be a blend of "Thunderbolts* / The New Avengers", "X-Men: First Class", "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", and "The Breakfast Club", with sources reportedly praising the current development.
