Japan's Megahouse toy company has revealed two new additions to its WALLSTAR carded figure series, based on the popular anime "ONE PIECE" – the "WALLSTAR ONE PIECE Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5" and the "WALLSTAR ONE PIECE Roronoa Zoro". Each figure is priced at 2,970 JPY and is slated for release in late February 2027.
The WALLSTAR series is designed for collectors to "collect and display on the wall," packaging detailed figures on attractive blister cards that allow for perfect display without even opening the box. Kicking off the series are Gear 5 Luffy and Zoro from the Wano Country Arc! Luffy's figure, standing approximately 10 cm tall, meticulously recreates his Gear 5 "Nika" form. A dynamic smoke effect supports him in a mid-air pose, with his bent legs showcasing the whimsical, rubbery lines of his design. Combined with his ready-to-punch stance, the figure exudes immense power!
Zoro's figure also stands approximately 10 cm tall, capturing him in a battle-ready pose, poised to draw his sword. His chiseled musculature is faithfully sculpted, complemented by the dynamic folds of his clothing, making him look ready to cut down anything in his path! The most significant aspect of this release is the card itself, which features detailed photos of the figure and uses a blister pack to secure the figure within the box. The card appears to utilize a non-adhesive, double-layer design, so collectors won't feel bad about opening the packaging.
