The Japanese figure manufacturer MegaHouse has announced the latest addition to its popular "MEGA CAT PROJECT" series, which transforms characters into adorable felines. The new line, titled "MEGA CAT PROJECT: My Hero Academia Good Night Hero Kittens", features eight distinct mini figures, each priced at 1,760 JPY and slated for release in May 2027.
The "MEGA CAT PROJECT" series reimagines popular characters from Japanese anime and manga as charming cat figures, typically standing around 3 cm tall. These designs are a collaborative effort with illustrator TAMPOPO, known for their cute chibi characters and cartoon-style cats.
The newest "MEGA CAT PROJECT: My Hero Academia Good Night Hero Kittens" mini figures embrace the playful concept that "cats are liquid," depicting the feline-transformed heroes and villains cozily nestled inside small bottles. This unique approach allows fans to enjoy the whimsical sight of their favorite characters peacefully sleeping within their glass confines. The initial lineup includes eight fan-favorite characters: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Ochaco Uraraka, Shota Aizawa, Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko Toga. Each figure measures approximately 6.5 cm, offering an incredibly charming and therapeutic display.
