This iteration of "Carrie" promises to be highly faithful to Stephen King's original novel. It will incorporate the book's external investigative perspective, detailing the 911 calls from the prom night massacre, subsequent recorded testimonies, police reports, and scientific findings attempting to explain Carrie's telekinetic abilities. Furthermore, starting from the second episode, each installment will open with a short story focusing on a different woman from a different era and location, who also possesses telekinetic powers, exploring how she comes to understand and accept her abilities, thereby echoing Carrie's own experiences.
