Japanese toy company MegaHouse is expanding its popular "LIFE SIZE DOLL" series, which focuses on everyday companion figures, with a new product from the hit anime "Chainsaw Man." Fans can look forward to a 1:1 life-size Pochita plush, priced at 29,150 JPY, with an estimated release in late February 2027.
The adorable Chainsaw Devil, Pochita, is an orange puppy characterized by a chainsaw for a head and an engine pull-start for a tail. At the beginning of the "Chainsaw Man" story, Pochita encounters a dying Denji, and the two forge an inseparable bond, sharing a life of extreme poverty, eating toast, and sleeping together in a dilapidated shack. After Denji's tragic assassination by the yakuza, Pochita selflessly merges with him, becoming his heart and granting him the power to transform into Chainsaw Man, all while making the poignant promise, "I want to see you fulfill your dreams."
This new 1:1 life-size Pochita plush stands approximately 60 cm (about 23.6 inches) tall, faithfully recreating his iconic, plump form with soft fabric stuffing. Even his adorable, rounded mouth is meticulously detailed! The plush features articulated limbs, allowing for subtle posing adjustments. Adding to the interactive fun, Pochita's tail is pullable, and a built-in sound device activates when you press his back or pick him up.
