Mezco Toyz, the acclaimed American toy manufacturer, has unveiled a new addition to its popular One:12 Collective line: a 1/12 scale action figure of Blade, inspired by the video game "Marvel's Midnight Suns." Priced at US$125, the figure is now available for pre-order on Mezco's official website, with an estimated release window of March to May 2027!
Blade first appeared in "The Tomb of Dracula" #10, published in 1973. His true name is Eric Brooks, a dhampir – half-human, half-vampire – who hunts his own kind. After his mother was attacked, he inherited vampiric superhuman strength and healing abilities, along with immunity to sunlight and silver, earning him the moniker "Daywalker." He dedicates his life to stalking vampires in the shadows and protecting humanity.
Standing approximately 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) tall, this 1/12 scale Blade action figure is meticulously crafted to reflect his appearance in "Marvel's Midnight Suns." The sculpt faithfully captures Eric's in-game facial features, while his entire outfit is expertly tailored using a combination of fabric and faux leather materials. He sports an articulated protective vest over a long-sleeved top, tactical pants with knee pads, and sturdy combat boots. Completing his iconic look are a leather trench coat with a blood-red lining and a pair of goggles.
Accessories include seven pairs of interchangeable hands, three interchangeable head sculpts, two customized submachine guns, a large machine gun with a sliding foregrip and a detachable blade, two throwing glaives, three daggers, and a katana. His arsenal can be holstered and strapped to his body using detachable holsters and leg straps, allowing for dynamic, fully-equipped combat poses on the included display base!
