Bandai Spirits' Banpresto prize figure brand recently unveiled an incredibly fun new product from the anime "Baki Hanma" on their official X (formerly Twitter) account: the "Retsu Kaioh's Guruguru Roller!!", slated for release as a prize figure in February 2027.
In episode 3 of "Baki Hanma" Season 2, when Retsu Kaioh faced the prehistoric man Pickle in the underground arena, his conventional Chinese martial arts were completely suppressed by Pickle. He completely abandoned all strategies, tactics, and techniques, and, driven by pure emotion, unleashed the wild, technique-abandoning fist known as "Ressha-ken". However, just as he seemed on the verge of giving up, muscle memory caused him to instinctively defend himself with techniques, reminding him of his mission to carry on four millennia of martial arts history!
This "Retsu Kaioh's Guruguru Roller!!" figure is inspired by that iconic scene, bringing Retsu Kaioh in mid-Ressha-ken to life! The figure sculpt faithfully reproduces his rock-solid, battle-hardened musculature, and his face captures his roaring expression. The most distinctive feature is how his arms are sculpted as single, flat discs, creating a dynamic blur effect as he throws his punches. Furthermore, his shoulders feature a roller design, allowing you to rotate them to recreate the classic scene of him relentlessly unleashing the Ressha-ken upon Pickle!
