Good Smile Company, a leading Japanese figure manufacturer, has announced the launch of its brand-new chibi figure line, the "Good" series! The inaugural releases hail from the popular film series, "Rebuild of Evangelion", featuring "Good Rei Ayanami" and "Good Shikinami Asuka Langley Jersey Ver." Each figure is priced at a suggested retail price of 2,000 JPY (tax included) and is slated for an April 2027 release.
The "Good" series introduces a distinctive shared pose across all its figures. The more figures you collect and display together, the more enjoyable and adorable your collection becomes!
"Good Rei Ayanami" captures Rei in her iconic pilot suit from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" films. Standing at a compact 8cm tall, the figure meticulously details the intricate design of her plugsuit. A glossy finish accurately replicates the suit's latex-like texture. Her signature pose, with hands on hips and a thumbs-up gesture, combined with her typically stoic expression, creates an unexpectedly charming and cute aesthetic!
The "Good Shikinami Asuka Langley Jersey Ver." figure also stands approximately 8cm tall, depicting Asuka in her classic pilot suit adorned with her signature jersey. The figure expertly differentiates between the glossy finish of her plugsuit and the matte texture of her jersey. Her adorable, confident "cat mouth" expression offers a distinct and captivating charm, setting her apart from Rei Ayanami!
