Following the tenth installment of Bandai Candy's popular "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" candy toy series, "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA 10", released this past March, the company has now announced a dedicated equipment set for the V2 Assault Buster Gundam. This new release, titled "G Frame FA V2 Assault Buster Gundam Option Parts Set & Large Caliber Beam Cannon [P-Bandai Limited]," is priced at 4,950 JPY (tax included) and is scheduled for release in January 2027.
The "V2 Assault Buster Cannon Gundam," or V2ABC Gundam for short, is a special form that appears in the mobile game "Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE." Building upon the V2 Assault Buster Gundam's already heavily armored configuration, this variant incorporates a hand-held Large Caliber Beam Cannon, showcasing extraordinary destructive power.
This option parts set includes the Large Caliber Beam Cannon itself, featuring a deployable grip and particle ring effects that burst from both sides during its charge mode. It also comes with azure Beam Wings that deploy to counteract recoil during firing, allowing for dynamic and powerful firing poses when combined with a display stand. Additionally, the set provides standard shoulder, skirt, and knee armor, enabling collectors to revert the V2 Gundam from its Assault Buster equipment to its original V2 Gundam form. The package is further enhanced with a wealth of beam effect parts, including a standard Beam Shield, a regular Beam Saber with a high-output effect, a large Beam Shield for the Assault Buster form, and vibrant pink Beam Wing effects. This comprehensive collection of V2 Gundam forms makes it arguably the most complete set available, a definite must-have for V2 Gundam enthusiasts!
