World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has announced a new product line based on the upcoming PS5 game, "Marvel's Wolverine"—the Wolverine 1/6th scale collectible figure. Available in regular and deluxe editions, this article focuses on the Deluxe Version, priced at US$375 and slated for a March 2028 release!
"Marvel's Wolverine" is a highly anticipated action-adventure title for the PS5, developed by Sony's top-tier studio, Insomniac Games. The game promises fluid, cinematic combat and is set before the formation of the X-Men. Logan, having left X-Force, is forced back into action to rescue kidnapped former teammates. The game is set to officially launch on September 15th, and anticipation is incredibly high!
Beyond the seamless body and five interchangeable hands included with the regular version, the Deluxe Edition exclusively features an incredibly dynamic diorama base! This base captures the formidable villain Omega Red bursting forth from shattered rock terrain, showcasing intricate sculpting that highlights his taut musculature and enraged expression. His eyes are painted with UV-sensitive paint, allowing them to glow in the dark after sufficient UV light exposure, simulating his deadly energy surges!
Extending from Omega Red's wrists are two long "Carbonadium Tentacles," which contain internal wires. This allows collectors to freely pose them in various dynamic ways—swinging, coiling to bind, or engaging in a deadly confrontation with Wolverine—significantly enhancing the display possibilities!
