Japanese prize manufacturer PARADE (株式会社パレード) has officially revealed its latest super-sized arcade prizes for the immensely popular series "Chiikawa"—the "Chiikawa Dekatsuyo & Anoko BIG Plush" (ちいかわ でかつよ・あのこBIGぬいぐるみ)! This collection features two highly talked-about monster characters from the original story, set to be released sequentially starting September 18, 2026, as crane game prizes in Japanese arcades.
Created by manga artist Nagano (ナガノ), the phenomenal hit "Chiikawa" is beloved not only for the heartwarming daily lives of its cute protagonists but also for the underlying, heavy foreshadowing of "Chimera-fication" hidden deep within its world, which sparks fervent fan theories. This time, PARADE has made an unprecedented move, selecting two highly impactful, massive creatures from the series: the tragic character "Dekatsuyo" (でかつよ), who once swapped bodies with the small flying squirrel and whose soul cries out from within a monster's body, and "Anoko" (あのこ), suspected to be a mutated companion who revels in immense destructive power. These two pivotal characters are now being brought to life as substantial plush figures!
This lineup includes "Anoko", featuring a pure white body with a single horn, playfully winking with one eye while holding a camera in both hands. Also making its debut as a prize figure is "Dekatsuyo", with its fluffy, yellow, pom-pom-like body and a boldly extended pink tongue! Both plush figures meticulously recreate the characters' details while offering a soft, huggable texture, embodying the complex emotions of love and pity from the original work. The announcement immediately sent Japanese netizens into a frenzy, with some exclaiming, "I absolutely have to win these and enshrine them at home!" and others excitedly declaring, "I'm taking time off work to hit the arcades and get them!"
