FuRyu's prize division, Furyu Prize, recently announced a new Katsuki Bakugo prize figure under its MUCHUTE (ムチュート) brand, which aims to capture "irresistible charm." This new release, based on the popular anime film "My Hero Academia The Movie: You're Next," is scheduled to launch as a prize figure in February 2027.
"My Hero Academia The Movie: You're Next" is the fourth original anime film in the series, with original creator Kohei Horikoshi serving as chief supervisor. Set after the "Paranormal Liberation War" arc, where social order has collapsed, it tells the thrilling story of Izuku Midoriya and the students of Class 1-A as they confront a mysterious new foe, "Dark Might," embarking on a passionate battle to protect the world and uphold their beliefs.
This MUCHUTE Katsuki Bakugo figure stands approximately 16 cm tall. Sculpted based on his hero costume appearance from the movie, it captures him in a dynamic leaping pose, surging forward! The figure is supported by a black stand, creating the illusion of him soaring through the air. Intricate sculpting highlights details like his grenade-shaped gauntlets (hero support items designed to collect sweat) and the folds in his costume. The vibrant colors of his hero suit are faithfully reproduced with careful paint application. It can be displayed alongside the Izuku Midoriya figure, releasing in January, to recreate a thrilling scene of the two heroes fighting side-by-side!
