Bandai Japan has announced the latest DX toy product from Toei's special effects series "Kamen Rider MY-TH", the "DX RIDEWATTER X Egg", slated for release on September 19, 2026.
The newest installment in the 2026 Kamen Rider series, "Kamen Rider MY-TH", delves into a past 100 years before the main story. During this era, Riders who transformed using animal powers formed the "Twelve Zodiac Alliance" to protect the world from invading monsters known as "Mysteries". However, their leader, "Kamen Rider MY-TH", suddenly betrayed the alliance, and the remaining members subsequently fell into a century-long slumber, leaving many unanswered questions.
In the present day, a luxurious mansion is home to the cynical butler Otozumi Sora and the innocent young lady Mizuki Yuna. Sora possesses the power to transform into "Kamen Rider MY-TH" and, with Yuna's support, battles against the "Mysteries". Meanwhile, the "Twelve Zodiac Alliance" has reawakened in this era, but a new leader, "Kamen Rider Maou" Rineko Katakeuri, has appeared, a figure who should not exist. Upon learning of MY-TH's existence, he begins a covert hunt, setting the stage for an intense clash between two major factions.
The "DX RIDEWATTER X Egg" is 1.5 times larger than standard "Rider X Egg" series products and features intricate paint applications both inside and out. Through its transformation and combination mechanism, it can recreate Kamen Rider MY-TH's dedicated motorcycle, the "RIDEWATTER", as seen in the show. It also includes a wheel rotation mechanism to simulate riding. When combined with the separately sold "TAF Kamen Rider MY-TH" figure, collectors can recreate dynamic riding poses.
Furthermore, the product can link with the separately sold "DX MY-TH Driver", activating the "RIDEWATTER" summon sound effects from the series when attached.
