BANPRESTO, the prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has unveiled two new "Jujutsu Kaisen" additions to its "MAXIMATIC" figure series, known for its impressive scale and satisfying detail. Fans can look forward to "Yuta Okkotsu -Culling Game II-" and "Ryu Ishigori," both slated for release as prize figures in February 2027.
Ryu Ishigori, an incarnated sorcerer from 400 years ago, made his debut in the Culling Game arc. Believing he was never truly satisfied in his past life, he made a pact with Kenjaku to become a Culling Game player in search of his ultimate "dessert." Ishigori's Cursed Technique is a straightforward output of Cursed Energy, allowing him to unleash high-energy blasts from his signature pompadour. He engaged in a fierce battle within the Sendai Colony against Yuta Okkotsu, Takako Uro, and the Cursed Spirit Dhruv Lakdawala.
These two prize figures appear to be inspired by the intense confrontation between Yuta and Ryu Ishigori in anime episode 59, "Sendai Colony." Both characters are dynamically sculpted back-to-back, unleashing their respective techniques. The intricate sculpting meticulously reproduces the folds and creases in their clothing, as well as the detailed musculature of their bodies. Ishigori's iconic pompadour and Yuta's flowing hair are exquisitely rendered, capturing their movement. Combined with precisely printed facial expressions that show them looking back at each other, these figures perfectly recreate the thrilling battle scene.
