BANDAI SPIRITS' prize toy brand, BANPRESTO, has announced its latest products from the super popular anime K-ON!, slated for release in early 2027!
Originally serialized as a four-panel manga starting in 2007 and adapted into an anime by Kyoto Animation in 2009, K-ON! sparked a "light music" craze. This super popular moe-band series tells the everyday story of five girls from Sakuragaoka High School's Light Music Club. With its soft, cute aesthetic and well-developed, charming characters, the anime adaptation garnered numerous awards for both animation and music, and to this day, a massive fanbase reveres it as a legendary band series.
The five members sculpted this time appear in their summer uniforms, a look rarely seen in figure form over the years. Their poses are chosen to highlight their lively girlish charm and individual personalities. The three string instrument players, Yui Hirasawa, Mio Akiyama, and Azusa Nakano, carry their respective instruments. Unfortunately, keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki and drummer Ritsu Tainaka do not come with items related to their instruments. The sight of the five vibrant girls lined up is incredibly pleasing to the eye, and it's also remarkable how high the quality of Prize Figures has become in this era!
