CAPCOM, the Japanese company behind the high-quality pre-painted figure series "CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER Creator's Model", which features characters from its various game IPs, has announced the latest product, "CFB Creator's Model XL Gogmazios", slated for release in August 2027.
Making its return in "Monster Hunter Wilds" late last year, Gogmazios is a colossal Elder Dragon species, measuring nearly 50 meters in length. This monster has a penchant for gunpowder and sulfur, expelling impurities from its body to form "Super-Heavy Dragonbone Oil." This secretion boasts incredible stickiness; when hot, it firmly adheres to anything it touches, and when cooled, it hardens into a formidable armor. After raiding human armories to feed, Gogmazios often finds various weapons accidentally stuck to its body, which it then carries back to its lair to slumber for decades. Among these attached armaments is even the legendary "First Dragonator," earning it the moniker "Gogmazios."
The "CFB Creator's Model XL Gogmazios" is crafted on a significantly larger scale than previous entries in the series, standing an imposing 43cm tall and 45cm wide. Its realistic, ultra-high-density sculpt meticulously recreates every detail, from the intricate scale patterns across its body and the "Super-Heavy Dragonbone Oil" encasing its form, to the multitude of weapons stuck to its back. Furthermore, a rich color application brings to life the organic interior of its mouth, the glowing red, scorching hot area on its chest, and the rust on the weapons embedded in its back. This figure allows collectors to fully experience the overwhelming presence and immense scale of Gogmazios as it appears in the game.
