IKIMON's ARTUNIV TECHNI COLOUR (ATC) capsule toy brand has rolled out a whimsical new product: the "Human-Sized Sunflower Seed Silicone Pouch" capsule toy! Available in five different designs, these hilarious collectibles are priced at 500 yen per play and launched in late August 2026.
Japanese designer Takahiro Shibata, active in animation, video production, and sculpture, originally created the "Human-Sized Sunflower Seed" after his sister asked for "a snack that would lift her spirits." The creation went viral on social media, and now this mood-boosting sunflower seed is being released as a capsule toy! The "Human-Sized Sunflower Seed Silicone Pouch" capsule toy is presented in a massive 17cm size and designed as a silicone pouch for storing small items. While not edible itself, you can store food or small snacks inside and experience the peculiar feeling of being a hamster!
▼The original concept was an evolved fortune cookie, featuring a cookie shell with chocolate seeds.
