Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO has officially revealed a new product based on the classic "X-Men: The Animated Series" – the Jean Grey 1/6 Scale Action Figure. Priced at $245, this figure is set to be available for pre-order exclusively on the MONDO SHOP website starting September 22, 2026, at 11 AM Central Time.
Co-created by Marvel legend Stan Lee and the iconic artist Jack Kirby, Jean Grey first appeared in "The X-Men" #1 in September 1963. As one of the founding members of the X-Men, she possesses innate telekinetic and telepathic abilities. Later, in "Uncanny X-Men," she gained the immortal and mysterious Phoenix Force. However, even a hint of negative thought can be amplified exponentially, potentially leading to her corruption.
This Jean Grey 1/6 Scale Action Figure stands approximately 11.25 inches (28.5 cm) tall, meticulously crafted to replicate her iconic appearance from the animated series. The sculpt faithfully recreates her battle suit, while the figure features the series' signature cel-shaded paint application, line art detailing, and distinct light and shadow separation to capture the character's 2D aesthetic.
Accessories include three interchangeable head sculpts, a standard ponytail hairstyle, a loose hairpiece, and a Cerebro helmet. The figure also comes with five pairs of interchangeable hands, a pair of hands with telekinetic blast effects, a pair of hands with psychic triangle activation effects, a telekinetic effect wrapping around Magneto's helmet, and three forehead ability effects. These allow for dynamic posing of Jean as she unleashes her powers! Additionally, this release includes an interchangeable Cyclops head sculpt, which can be paired with the previously released Cyclops figure to recreate their iconic interactions from the show.
