TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan's 3371 BANDAI SPIRITS, has officially revealed the latest addition to their popular 122 S.H.Figuarts 2828 action figure line. The upcoming figure, "S.H.Figuarts All For One," from the hit anime series "2986 My Hero Academia" (僕のヒーローアカデミア), was teased early on their official X account. Full details are set to be announced tomorrow at 10 AM Japan time.
Created by manga artist Kohei Horikoshi, "2986 My Hero Academia" is a modern shonen hero manga that ran from 2014 to 2024. Its immense popularity has garnered significant global discussion and led to adaptations into anime, novels, games, and, of course, toys. The 122 S.H.Figuarts line, in particular, has been a favorite among collectors for its mature, later-stage character designs, previously releasing popular characters such as Himiko Toga, Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, and Tomura Shigaraki! The newly released photo appears to recreate a four-character scene from episode 162 of the anime!
All For One is arguably the mastermind behind all the darkness and conspiracies throughout "2986 My Hero Academia." During the dawn of Quirks, he amassed power by bestowing abilities upon his followers, forming a dark force that dominated Japan. After his defeat by All Might, he retreated into the shadows, recuperating and biding his time. This new figure captures his appearance from the final arc's climactic battle, where he used a stolen Quirk to de-age. While this restored his physical peak, it also came with mental instability and the risk of further de-aging with each injury until he reverted to an infant state. As one of the series' two ultimate antagonists, and following the previous reveals of other final battle designs like Tomura Shigaraki, anticipation is high for the official unveiling of the All For One figure tomorrow!
