PLEX and X-PLUS TOYS have officially unveiled details for the latest entry in their popular DEFOREAL soft vinyl figure series, which masterfully blends intricate, realistic details with adorable, super-deformed proportions. This new release, the "WarGreymon: G-Erosion Mode," hails from the "Digital Monster COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition" and is slated for a December 2026 release.
Released in August 2025, the "Digital Monster COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition" is a collaborative product celebrating Godzilla's 70th anniversary with Digimon. The game software features dozens of classic Toho Kaiju from the Godzilla series, and players will have the chance to evolve their Digimon into original collaboration forms such as "MetalGreymon: G-Erosion Mode," "WarGreymon: G-Erosion Mode," and more.
The "DEFOREAL WarGreymon: G-Erosion Mode" stands approximately 18 cm tall, sculpted in a 2.5-head proportion, depicting WarGreymon's body as it's eroded by Godzilla cells. Despite its super-deformed scale, the figure meticulously captures WarGreymon's muscular physique, the armor equipped on various parts of its body, and signature armaments like the Dramon Killer and Brave Shield. The erosion is vividly rendered with Godzilla-fied black, rough skin, a tail, and massive dorsal fins, while rich translucent materials and paintwork convey the powerful energy contained within.
The intricate detailing on the DEFOREAL version is absolutely on par with the standard-scale Toho Large Monster Series. Inside the mouth, sharp teeth, gums, and a rough tongue surface are intricately sculpted, with paintwork depicting yellowed and blackened tartar alongside a glossy, moist texture. Combined with the cloudy left eye, the figure boasts a highly organic, biological feel. The eroded areas not only feature damaged sculpting and weathering effects on the armor but also faithfully recreate the grid-like transition zone where the body meets the eroded sections.
