Bandai's popular Gashapon brand is expanding its "Machibouke" (Waiting) series with a new collection featuring the hit anime "Gintama." The latest release, titled "Gintama Machibouke ~Is the Shogun Also Waiting?!~" Capsule Toys, will include five different figures, each priced at 500 yen per capsule (tax included). Fans can expect these to start rolling out in late September 2026.
The "Gintama Machibouke ~Is the Shogun Also Waiting?!~" Capsule Toys adorably recreate popular characters from the series in a compact size. This particular lineup prominently features the unforgettable Shogun! The collection includes a sweating Sakata Gintoki, Hijikata Toushirou, Kondou Isao, Okita Sougo, and of course, Tokugawa Shige Shige. Each figure, standing at approximately 4 cm tall, meticulously captures the intricate details of their outfits and designs. Their dynamic sitting poses perfectly convey their distinct personalities, bringing to mind some of the series' most hilarious moments.
