Four months after teasing their collaboration in May 2026, TAKARA TOMY’s competitive spinning-top line BEYBLADE X and Detective Conan have finally revealed what they were hiding. Shogakukan’s Monthly CoroCoro Comic has unveiled the Kaito Kid-themed Kid Hunt K4-70TK Metal Coat: White. The Bey will be offered in Japan through a paid reader offer available to all applicants, with a fee of 2,600 yen.
The original collaboration video showed nothing more than a mysterious message styled after one of Kaito Kid’s calling cards. Now it appears that he has not only stolen Conan’s spotlight but also claimed the starring role in the collaboration. Kid Hunt is finished primarily in Kaito Kid’s signature white, accented with large translucent-blue parts and a white top-hat emblem at its center. The layered lines of its outer blades also evoke his white cape billowing through the night sky. Rather than simply placing the series logo on an existing design, the collaboration captures the character through its colors and silhouette.
The collaboration extends beyond the Bey itself. The first part of a special BEYBLADE X × Detective Conan crossover manga has also been released, officially bringing Kaito Kid into the world of Beyblade.
The magazine preview also shows a special Kaito Kid PR card for the Detective Conan Card Game, featuring the phantom thief with Kid Hunt. For fans who collect both Beyblades and cards, it looks like another piece of loot that will be difficult to pass up.
Kid Hunt is not a free bonus included simply with the purchase of the magazine. Readers must apply separately and pay according to the instructions in the November 2026 issue of Monthly CoroCoro Comic. The 2,600-yen fee covers the item, shipping, and handling, and applications are limited to one per person. Full application instructions, the deadline, and the shipping schedule will be announced in the issue, which is scheduled for release in Japan on October 15, 2026. TAKARA TOMY has also yet to disclose the performance characteristics of each component. Fans hoping to add the “Magician Under the Moonlight” to their Bey cases will want to mark the date.
