While fans anticipate seeing Tom Hiddleston (as Loki) and Willem Dafoe (as Green Goblin) in the upcoming "Avengers: Doomsday" later this year, the two stars are set to appear together first in Apple's "Tenzing." The film is slated for a limited theatrical release in select North American cinemas on October 9, followed by its Apple TV+ debut on October 16. The first trailer for the highly anticipated drama was unveiled last night.

"Tenzing" is a biographical drama based on the true story of the late, renowned mountaineer Tenzing Norgay, who, alongside New Zealand mountaineer Edmund Hillary, became one of the first two individuals to successfully summit Mount Everest in 1953. Hiddleston portrays Hillary in the film.
Directed by Jennifer Peedom, the screenplay was penned by Luke Davies, known for his work on "News of the World" and "Beautiful Boy." The cast also features Caitríona Balfe as expedition secretary Jill Henderson, and Tibetan actor Genden Phuntsok in the titular role of Tenzing Norgay.
