Takara Tomy's popular capsule toy brand T-ARTS is following up its hit “SEGA Retro Game Consoles” collection with the latest release in its “The History Collection” series: the “The History Collection -PlayStation™-” capsule toy lineup! The collection features five console models, priced at 500 yen per pull, and is scheduled to roll out in late October 2026.
The “The History Collection -PlayStation™-” capsule toy series faithfully recreates PlayStation hardware in miniature, spanning the original PlayStation through the PlayStation 5. Each model comes with a controller, game disc, and retail box, all reproduced with impressively accurate proportions and fine detail. The original PlayStation even features an opening disc lid, while the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 models include nostalgic memory cards. It is a pocket-sized trip through PlayStation history!
