TAKARA TOMY's T-SPARK label has teased the next release in its 1/100-scale articulated REALIZE MODEL kit series. Based on the anime "Zoids: Chaotic Century," RMZ-028 Blade Liger AB Van Specification will be fully unveiled and open for preorder on November 5, 2026.
The Blade Liger is the successor to the Shield Liger, powered by the Organoid System recovered from ancient ruins. The system dramatically boosts its agility, allowing it to launch high-speed assaults and slice enemies apart with the Laser Blades mounted along its flanks. Its mane also houses shield generators that provide greater defensive performance than the Shield Liger's. Equipping the Attack Boosters transforms it into the upgraded Blade Liger AB. In addition to dramatically increasing mobility, the boosters can rotate forward and function as AZ High-Density Beam Cannons.
Based on the preview images released so far, RMZ-028 Blade Liger AB Van Specification modifies the line's first kit, RMZ-001 Blade Liger. A newly tooled pair of Attack Boosters mounts to the back, featuring extendable cannon barrels and an opening booster mechanism that recreates the deployment sequence from the anime.
Even with the Attack Boosters installed, the Laser Blades on both sides of the body can still deploy and accept effect parts for attack poses. The upper and lower E-Shield generators in the mane and the fins on either side can also open. New clear yellow E-Shield effect parts are included to showcase the upgraded machine's enhanced defensive capabilities.
