BANDAI SPIRITS’ BANDAI HOBBY division is expanding its articulated character model kit lineup with the latest release in the 30 MINUTES PREFERENCE (30MP) series. Based on "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-", the new 30MP Homura Akemi (Walpurgisnacht: Rising Ver.) kit launches on November 7, 2026, with a suggested retail price of 4,950 yen, including tax. BANDAI has now officially revealed the kit’s box art and a full set of detailed product images!
When "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" premiered in 2011, it became an instant sensation among anime fans and helped spark more than a decade of darker, more psychologically intense magical-girl series. It also popularized the now-famous "three-episode rule." "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-" picks up after "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Rebellion-" and reunites franchise veterans Akiyuki Shimbou, Gen Urobuchi, Ume Aoki, and Yuki Kajiura for the series’ first all-new theatrical feature in nearly 13 years.
Depicting Homura in her new magical-girl outfit, the 30MP Homura Akemi (Walpurgisnacht: Rising Ver.) kit comes on eight runners. Precise part separation recreates the costume’s complex layered design with almost no additional painting required. Even the diamond pattern on her tights is fully color-separated with individual parts. The gems on her chest and left hand use insert molding to reproduce their gold and black frames around translucent purple centers. The kit also includes two pre-painted interchangeable face parts and four blank face parts, while the water-slide decals provide a wide variety of expressions. Pair her with the concurrently released 30MP Madoka Kaname (Walpurgisnacht: Rising Ver.) for the complete display!
