Takara Tomy’s T-ARTS brand is launching a hilarious new capsule toy collection called “Painfully Obvious Shape-Shifting Fox.” The series features five designs priced at 300 yen per pull and is scheduled for release in November 2026.
The “Painfully Obvious Shape-Shifting Fox” series stars a fox spirit who is terrible at transforming into other animals. No matter how hard he tries, his face and tail stubbornly remain unmistakably foxlike! Measuring approximately 4.6 to 6.7 cm, the lineup includes Koala?, Penguin?, Alpaca?, Gorilla?, and Secret?. Everyone around him can see straight through the disguise, but the little fox still looks adorably pleased with his work. It’s equal parts cute and ridiculous!
