Japanese toy company BANDAI is expanding its new BARABARIDE lineup with the shark-themed “BR-11 Abyss Shark.” Built to slip beneath rival machines and attack from below, Abyss Shark uses its impact to launch opponents upward, throw them off balance, and trigger their break-apart gimmicks. The starter set is priced at 3,300 yen (tax included) and launches on November 7, 2026. BANDAI will also release the BR-12 DX Starter Set on the same day, featuring an exclusive-color Storm Falcon and a folding Fold Coliseum arena.
A previously featured BARABARIDE battle video showed Storm Falcon and Rush Stallion slamming into each other and instantly bursting apart. The new Abyss Shark takes a different approach, attacking from underneath and using a low-angle ambush to lift rival machines off the ground. This gives players another offensive strategy to bring into battle. Its cowl, bumper, tires, and other components can also be swapped with parts from other vehicles in the series. The set includes the machine and a dedicated charger; just add three AA batteries to charge it up and send it into battle.
