Following the recent leak of LEGO 21375 Godzilla, packaging and product images for the companion LEGO 40888 Godzilla Footprint gift-with-purchase set have now surfaced on social media. The set is expected to make its official debut during LEGO's livestream on November 3 at noon ET/9 a.m. PT. LEGO has yet to publish an official product page, however, so all details remain subject to confirmation.
Rumors of the promotional set began circulating several days ago, and those early descriptions closely match the newly leaked images. While photos of the main Godzilla set reportedly came from a sample displayed at a local retailer, these images appear more like official product renders released ahead of schedule. The exact source of the leak remains unclear.
The images show a massive Godzilla footprint accompanied by a bright blue GODZILLA logo, a burning building, and a tiny Mothra hovering overhead. Multiple layers of gray and black bricks give the footprint the look of an enormous creature crushing through asphalt. The logo uses the electric-blue color associated with MonsterVerse Godzilla, while the building in the background uses a simple color palette that still captures its silhouette effectively. Miniature Mothra is represented by a butterfly element featuring a printed Mothra pattern. The packaging indicates a piece count of approximately 359. None of these details have been officially announced, so final specifications may differ.
