MegaHouse has officially unveiled the latest addition to its partially pre-painted VAKIT model kit line: the Dwadge G-Type from Kazuhisa Kondo’s manga "Mobile Suit Gundam The Rebirth of Zeon." Based on the manga’s distinctive heavy-armor design, the kit captures the mobile suit’s imposing military aesthetic and intricate mechanical detailing. This fixed-pose model kit features select pre-painted parts and will be priced at 8,800 yen, including tax. Preorders open on November 5, 2026, with the release scheduled for July 2027.

Previously displayed as an in-development prototype, the Dwadge G-Type now has an official price and release window. The mobile suit retains Kazuhisa Kondo’s grounded, military-inspired design language. Unlike the animated Dwadge, which closely resembles the Dom, the manga version is covered in substantially heavier armor and equipped with a massive backpack and thruster system. It also carries an enormous PzG44 anti-MS rifle, giving the finished silhouette the look of a heavily armored combat vehicle ready to roll onto the battlefield.

The model uses a fixed-pose design and includes select pre-painted parts, allowing builders to achieve its basic appearance right out of the box while leaving plenty of room for custom paint and weathering. In addition to water-slide decals, the kit comes with a special roller tool for creating a Zimmerit coating texture. Builders can use it to recreate the distinctive anti-magnetic paste surfaces commonly seen on German tanks from World War II. For modelers who love Kondo’s military-driven aesthetic, the tool adds another satisfying hands-on customization option to the build.
