"MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES" Is Getting a Live-Action Movie, Coming March 2027

Created by manga artist Hajime Komoto, MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES became even more widely known following two seasons of its TV anime adaptation. The second season’s opening theme, "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born," was a full-blown crossover hit, and Season 3 is set to premiere in January 2027.

On November 4, the official team also announced that the series is officially getting a live-action movie. Warner Bros. will oversee the project, with CREDEUS handling hands-on production. The two companies are joining forces for this major undertaking, which will hit Japanese theaters on March 19, 2027.

Production will be led by CREDEUS, the company behind acclaimed films including Kingdom, Golden Kamuy, and Kokuho, the highest-grossing Japanese live-action film of all time. CREDEUS has continued to bring homegrown Japanese live-action films to audiences around the world.

Now, CREDEUS and Warner Bros. are teaming up to bring this ambitious project to life, promising an unconventional entertainment spectacle built around the ultimate showdown: magic versus muscles.

CREDEUS being attached may offer fans some reassurance, but the cast has yet to be revealed, leaving plenty of curiosity over who will bring these larger-than-life characters into the real world.

The live-action MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES movie is officially set to open in Japan on March 19, 2027. More announcements are sure to arrive as the release approaches, so stay tuned.
