Renowned Japanese watchmaker SEIKO has previously teamed up with a range of ACG franchises on character-inspired watches, earning plenty of praise from fans.
Its latest collaboration draws on the classic series Lupin the 3rd, with a limited-edition watch modeled after Lupin's sharpshooting partner, Daisuke Jigen. Priced at ¥65,780 and limited to 3,000 pieces, the watch is now available to preorder through PREMICO.
A master marksman capable of drawing his gun and taking down an enemy in just 0.3 seconds, Daisuke Jigen brings his signature cool to this SEIKO collaboration watch.
The dial fades between black and gunmetal gray, accented by gold hour markers inspired by bullets and Jigen's trademark black fedora.
The subdial at 12 o'clock features a bullet-hole motif, while the 6 o'clock position displays the silhouette of Jigen's favorite gun. At 9 o'clock, the design recreates a revolver cylinder loaded with six rounds, giving the entire watch a rugged, hard-boiled edge.
The hour markers, hour hand, and minute hand are coated with luminous paint, allowing them to glow in low-light conditions.
The caseback is engraved with the Lupin the 3rd logo, Daisuke Jigen's name in English, and an individual limited-edition number.
The watch also comes in a custom display box inspired by the label on Jigen's favorite whiskey.
