ROBOT魂 <SIDE EVA> EVANGELION Unit-13 Action Figure Unveils Deluxe Armaments, December Release!

Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Toy Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, today announced the latest addition to its highly articulated "ROBOT魂" (ROBOT SPIRITS) action figure line: the "ROBOT魂 EVANGELION Unit-13" from "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time". This impressive figure is priced at 9,900 JPY and is slated for a December 2021 release!

First appearing in "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" and playing a pivotal role in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time", the Evangelion Unit-13 was dubbed the "final tool" by Gendo Ikari, crucial for initiating the Fourth Impact and achieving the Human Instrumentality Project. This unique EVA features a dual entry plug system, requiring two pilots—Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa. Visually, it shares similarities with Unit-01 but distinguishes itself with different coloring, horn shapes, and two pairs of eyes (the upper pair corresponding to pilot α, the lower to pilot β). Its chest is adorned with X-shaped cross armor, concealing a second pair of arms.

The "ROBOT魂 EVANGELION Unit-13" faithfully recreates Unit-13's on-screen proportions with meticulous sculpting and paintwork, highlighting the EVA's distinctive muscular lines. Continuing the excellent articulation design of the ROBOT魂 EVA series, it boasts ultra-high posability akin to the human body. The jaw features an articulated joint, allowing for an open-mouth pose. Included parts feature the chest piece for its four-armed configuration and various interchangeable hand sculpts.

For armaments, the figure comes equipped with a luxurious array of accessories, including four RS Hopper defense units, two Lances of Longinus to recreate the powerful dual-wielding scenes from "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo", and the Lance of Cassius. Pair it with the separately sold "ROBOT魂 EVA Unit-01" to recreate the thrilling battle scenes from the "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" trailer!
