Bandai Spirits is bringing back the classic 1998 Digimon Adventure Digimon Collection series, reimagined with modern techniques as the "Digimon NEW COLLECTION Vol.1." This new line aims to recapture the thrill of collecting Digimon, featuring six distinct creatures in its first wave. Priced at 5,940 JPY, pre-orders are now open on the Premium Bandai website, with an anticipated release in November 2021.
This revamped "Digimon NEW COLLECTION Vol.1" breathes new life into the beloved interactive collection, where Digimon are captured within their iconic cages. The original Digimon figures have been completely redesigned, boasting significant improvements in both sculpting and paint application. Details like characteristic fangs and body patterns have been refined, and the overall balance has been enhanced, resulting in more dynamic and powerful poses. Even the accompanying cages have been upgraded, now featuring an opening front door for convenient placement and removal of the Digimon, and they are designed to be stackable for impressive display options!
The inaugural lineup features a mix of returning favorites and exciting new additions. Reissued Digimon include Tyranomon, Agumon & Betamon, Greymon, and MetalGreymon (Virus). Joining them are two fresh faces from Digimon Adventure 02: Veemon and Paildramon! Fans can also look forward to even more Digimon joining this series in the future.
