TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced a new addition to its "ROBOT SPIRITS" line of articulated robot figures. The "08th MS Team Option Parts Set ver. A.N.I.M.E." for "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team" is slated for release in January 2022.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS 08th MS Team Option Parts Set ver. A.N.I.M.E." includes a variety of weapons and effect parts. These can be combined with separately sold figures like the "Gundam Ground Type ver. A.N.I.M.E." and "Zaku II JC Type ver. A.N.I.M.E." from "The 08th MS Team" series to recreate iconic scenes from the anime.
-
The set features a Missile Launcher and Rocket Launcher, which can be equipped by the separately sold Gundam Ground Type. Included effect parts allow for dynamic recreation of missile and rocket launches, enabling collectors to pose multiple units in a full-scale squad suppression scene!
-
Also included are a dedicated base to display the small shield embedded in the ground, 180mm Cannon firing effects, and dust effects to simulate recoil. These accessories allow fans to recreate the Gundam Ground Type's classic "Shining Shot" scene from the opening animation!
- Furthermore, a damaged left arm part for the "Zaku II JC Type ver. A.N.I.M.E." is included, perfect for recreating the intense showdown between Shiro Amada and Colonel Norris Packard!
