Bandai Spirits Hobby Division today announced the upcoming release of the "HG 1/72 MAILeS Reiki," the latest product from Bandai's original project "Kyoukai Senki" (also known as "AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline"), slated for release in December 2021.
The YM-03 MAILeS Reiki is a high-mobility MAILeS unit, outfitted with thruster units across its entire body. These thrusters can rotate to instantly change thrust direction, granting it exceptional maneuverability and even enabling brief low-altitude flight. For combat, it wields the long-range "Super Vibrating Naginata" and an "Electromagnetic Net Launcher," allowing it to engage multiple adversaries simultaneously. This unit is piloted by Shiin Shishibe and features the AI Nayuta.
The "HG 1/72 MAILeS Reiki" faithfully recreates the unique armor design and joint structure from the series in 1/72 scale, boasting a highly flexible range of articulation. Its massive rear skirt armor features a deployable gimmick, and all thruster units mounted across its body are rotatable. This allows for dynamic combat poses when paired with its signature "Super Vibrating Naginata" and "Electromagnetic Net Launcher" weaponry.
