Japanese toy manufacturer Sentinel has announced that its acclaimed die-cast action figure, the "RIOBOT Mazinkaiser," originally released in 2016, will be re-released as an improved version, with shipments expected in June 2022.

The "RIOBOT Mazinkaiser" was sculpted by Yoichi Sakamoto, who reinterpreted the OVA version of Mazinkaiser with a more powerful physique and integrated modern mechanical aesthetics. It features die-cast parts, a heavy metallic paint finish, extensive weapon gimmicks, and highly flexible articulation.

The accessory lineup includes a wealth of weapons and effect parts, allowing collectors to recreate scenes such as the Kaiser Pilder docking, the launch of the Turbo Smasher Punch, and the deployment of the Giganto Missile from the waist-mounted launchers. It also features the iconic moments of drawing the Kaiser Blade from the shoulder and the mighty Final Kaiser Blade from the chest. The Final Kaiser Blade itself is incredibly impressive, extending beyond the 18 cm height of the main figure!

Sentinel Hong Kong, responsible for the product's design and production, stated that this isn't just a simple re-release. It incorporates the latest technology from 2021, featuring reinforced and improved joints throughout the figure, along with an increased overall die-cast content, further evolving its articulation.
