Japanese toy brand 1000toys has announced new action figures from the 2D side-scrolling action game "Cuphead," featuring "Cuphead" and "Mugman." This article will focus on the product details for "Mugman"! It is slated for release in February 2022.
Developed by Studio MDHR, the run-and-gun game "Cuphead" centers on the titular brothers, Cuphead and Mugman. After losing their souls in a gamble with the Devil, they are forced to embark on a life-or-death "debt collection" mission at the Devil's command! The game is renowned for its retro cartoon aesthetic, old television static effects, and notoriously high difficulty. Despite its charmingly cute visuals, the sheer volume of enemy projectiles is staggering! Players must hone precise dodging skills to defeat bosses and clear stages with minimal health.
Standing approximately 13.5 cm tall, Mugman features a blue, white, and black color scheme. Compared to his brother Cuphead, Mugman's mug-shaped head is taller and deeper, with larger eyes and nose. Constructed from ABS, PVC, and POM, the figure boasts extensive articulation and comes with interchangeable hand parts (fists, open hands, shooting poses) to recreate various in-game stances. Collectors can also utilize the interchangeable eye parts to express a wider range of emotions. We're particularly excited about the feel of lifting Mugman by the handle on the back of his head – this is definitely a must-have alongside Cuphead!
