Bandai Namco Entertainment Japan officially unveiled the game trailer for its upcoming Gundam title, "Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy," which launched on November 5, 2021. Simultaneously, BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division announced that three new Mobile Suits featured in the game—the "White Rider," "Black Rider," and "Efreet Jäger"—will be released as HG 1/144 Gunpla models.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy" is a new game that leverages the system from "Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2" and combines it with an original story. The development team includes notable talents such as Masayoshi Tanaka for character design, Kyoshi Takigawa for mechanical design, and Toshikazu Yoshizawa as animation director. The story is set during the One Year War in Universal Century 0079, following protagonist Alma Stirner as she heads to the front lines to lead the "Noisy Fairy" unit, a secret force directly under Kycilia. Alongside fellow female pilots Mia and Helena, Alma battles the Earth Federation Forces, striving to turn the tide of a deteriorating war.
The three Mobile Suits joining the HG 1/144 lineup are the "White Rider," a prototype Unit 1 from the "Pale Rider Project," the "Black Rider," a prototype Unit 3 from the same project, and the "Efreet Jäger," utilized by the Noisy Fairy team.
